In the age of the camera phone, I do my best to keep a low profile, which can be challenging when I want to share my story at my own pace, in my own way, and on my own schedule. As much as I love the camera, the idea of being recognized for its frequent use troubles me. Can you be vain without being vain?

 

Oh, how I long for the simplicity of the 1970s. Back then, publicity could only get you so far. Today, you can gain publicity for doing nothing at all.
